One of the questions I'm often asked when a new submissive is on roster is "What are her limits?"
To some extent this is a meaningless question because on many occasions a new submissive doesn't know the answer
to that question because she has never had those limits tested or challenged. In addition a new submissive can often
be either too willing to please or too scared to trust.
I must say am always wary of ladies (or anyone) who tell me they have no limits. From experience the statement of
no limits can mean only three things, either the submissive is a lifestyle 'virgin', has had some but little experience or
is masochistically off centre. I have met some people who want to go into some very dark places which can be dangerous.
All sane human beings have limits. There are or should be fundamental boundaries across which the human mind is
incapable of retaining sanity should those boundaries be crossed. These are called hard limits. A Hard Limit is an issue
or belief that must remain inviolate for the individual to retain a belief in themselves and the world around them.
These are belief's that will never change. They are a part of the core or inner self, personal ethics.
It is commonly recognized that the basic three hard limits are NO CHILDREN - NO ANIMALS - NO DEAD PEOPLE
None of them can consent. Anyone who actively choose to violate them also breaks the law.
