Reputable businesses pay tax like everyone else and that includes us.
The GST that you are quoted goes to the tax office, which is proven by
our absolute willingness to accept traceable payments such as eftpos.

This year Salon Kitty's celebrates it's 25th birthday and from the
beginning we have striven to "do the right thing" whether in terms of
health and safety, fire, council regulations, ethical business practices
or tax.

If there are people in our industry who offer "discounts for cash", it
probably says a lot about what kind of business they run.
